History Lesson
Arkansas is 31-25 overall against Missouri, including an 11-14 record in games played in Columbia, Mo. Since Missouri joined the SEC prior to 2013, Arkansas is 17-4 overall, including 10-2 at home and 7-2 on the road, in the series history.

Under head coach Dave Van Horn (2003-pres.), the Razorbacks boast a commanding 20-4 overall record with a 7-2 mark on the road against the Tigers. Entering this weekend’s action, Arkansas has won five consecutive series against Missouri (2017, 2019, 2022, 2024 and 2025), including three consecutive series played in Columbia (2014, 2017 and 2022).

The Hogs, who are 13-2 overall in their last 15 games against Missouri since the start of the 2017 campaign, have not lost a weekend series against the Tigers since 2016. That year, Arkansas dropped a series against Missouri at Baum-Walker Stadium before suffering its worst season of the DVH era, finishing 26-29 overall with a 7-23 SEC record.

Here’s The Situation
With the second half of SEC play underway, Arkansas, currently 9-9 through 18 league games, must post a 9-3 record over its final 12 games of the year to reach the 18-win mark in conference play for the ninth consecutive season.

Entering the 2026 campaign, the Razorbacks have won 18 or more SEC games in eight consecutive seasons (2017-25) and are one of only two teams in conference history to accomplish the aforementioned feat. LSU is the only other SEC program to record at least eight consecutive seasons of 18 or more SEC victories (10 from 1996-2005).

Dazzlin’ Dietz
Plagued by injuries throughout the first two years of his collegiate career, Arkansas’ Hunter Dietz is now fully healthy and quickly proving why he is one of the top left-handers in college baseball. Through his first 10 starts of the season, the Trinity, Fla., native owns a 4-2 record with a 3.59 ERA and an SEC-leading 84 strikeouts in 52.2 innings on the mound.

After beginning the season as the Razorbacks’ game two starter, Dietz will make his third consecutive series-opening start Thursday night against the Tigers. The left-hander has turned in a team-high five quality starts this season:

1. UT Arlington (Feb. 28) – 7.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 8 SO
2. Stetson (March 7) – 6.0 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 12 SO

5. #8 Alabama (April 10) – 6.0 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 9 SO

Dietz has also turned in three double-digit strikeout efforts, tied for eighth most in a season by a Razorback pitcher:

1. Stetson (March 7) – 12 SO
2. South Carolina (March 21) – 12 SO
3. #18 Auburn (April 3) – 11 SO
