Hogs Host Bears in Midweek Matchup at Baum-Walker Stadium

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 24 Arkansas (26-15) and Missouri State (26-11) will square off for the second and final time this season on Tuesday, April 21, at Baum-Walker Stadium. First pitch in the second midweek meeting between the Hogs and Bears is scheduled for 6 p.m. on SEC Network+ with Brett Dolan (play-by-play) and Troy Eklund (analyst) on the call.

Entering Tuesday night, the Razorbacks are 8-2 in midweek games, including a 6-1 mark in midweek matchups at Baum-Walker Stadium, in the 2026 campaign. One of Arkansas’ two midweek losses this season came in a 15-14 setback in 10 innings in this year’s first matchup against Missouri State on Tuesday, March 31, in Springfield, Mo., at Hammons Field.

Arkansas’ Tate McGuire will start on the hill Tuesday night against Missouri State. The right-hander from Liberty, Mo., has made 12 appearances, including two starts, on the mound this season with a 0-0 record, 3.72 ERA and 23 strikeouts in 29.0 innings of work. McGuire, who is limiting opposing hitters to a .226 batting average, made his first midweek start of the year against Little Rock on April 7, working three scoreless innings with a strikeout in Arkansas’ 7-0 shutout win.
