Hogs PR, Ferraguti Notches 6th-Place Finish in A-Finals

AUBURN, Ala. – Following day four of SEC Championship action, the Razorbacks stand in 11th with a score of 260. The Razorbacks set themselves up to earn points in the evening coming off a solid string of prelim performances.

In the 200 Fly, Sydney Craft, Adela Vavrinova and Betsy Wizard all earned spots in the C-Final of the event. Vavrinova and Craft both broke personal records in the prelim (1:57.77 and 1:58.74, respectively), and Craft followed that up with a subsequent personal record in the C-Final (1:58.74).

The Razorbacks missed out on a final in the 100 Backstroke, but freshman Bara Matoskova broke a personal record with a time of 55.97, and Gracie Colvin came within hundredths of matching her personal record in the event.

The 100 Breast was the final prelim of the morning which featured Alessia Ferraguti, Alaya Smith, Bradi Jones, Reilly Shaner, and Lindy Hunter. Alessia Ferraguti broke her PR, notching a 58.99 and an NCAA B-Cut time, eclipsing her previous best by .27 of a second. Bradi Jones punched her ticket into the C-Final with an NCAA B-Cut time of 1:01.11. In the C-Final, Jones finished 6th, posting a time of 1:01.31.

Alessia Ferraguti swam a 59.19 in the A-Final of the 100 Breaststroke which was good for an NCAA B-Cut time and a 6th-place finish.
