Hogs Return Home for SEC Matchups

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s tennis team (11-5) returns home this weekend for a pair of SEC matches at Billingsley Tennis Center. The Razorbacks will host Vanderbilt on Friday, March 6 at 5:30 p.m. before welcoming Kentucky on Sunday, March 8 at 12 p.m.

Arkansas enters the weekend after splitting a Sunday doubleheader in Tuscaloosa, falling to Alabama 4-3 before defeating Alabama A&M 4-0 later in the day.

Vanderbilt enters Friday’s matchup with an 11-3 overall record and a 3-1 mark in SEC play. The Commodores are coming off a 4-3 victory over Texas A&M in College Station.

Kentucky holds an 8-5 overall record heading into Sunday’s contest in Fayetteville. The Wildcats are coming off a 4-3 loss to Florida in their most recent match.

Arkansas continues to see success from Jakub Vrba, who is currently ranked No. 21 nationally in singles. Vrba and Connor Smillie are also ranked No. 28 nationally in doubles.
