Hogs’ Schedule Changed for LA Tech Classic
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Due to rain in Saturday’s forecast, the No. 13 Arkansas Razorback’s schedule at the LA Tech Classic in Ruston, La., has been altered.
The Hogs will now play two games on Friday, opening the tournament with ULM at 4 p.m. before taking on tournament host LA Tech at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
Arkansas will face Southern Miss in its lone game on Saturday at 1 p.m. before concluding play with the originally scheduled Sunday slate that features the Razorbacks squaring off against Southern Miss (10 a.m.) and ULM (1 p.m.)
Only the Hogs’ game against LA Tech will be streamed on ESPN+ with Malcolm Butler (play-by-play) on the call in Ruston.
Arkansas is off to a 5-0 start this season after a perfect showing at the Texas State tournament, where the Razorbacks defeated Texas State (3-1), Lipscomb (23-0 5 inn.), Bradley (3-1, 9-1 6 inn.) and San Diego (2-1). It marked the fifth 5-0 start in program history and the fourth under head coach Courtney Deifel.
