Hogs Topple Trojans

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Razorbacks defeated the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans 169-116 in their first home meet of 2024. This marks the second time this season that the two teams squared off as well as the second time the Hogs have picked up a win against UALR.

The Hogs picked up wins in 12 events as well as both 1-meter and 3-meter diving. “It was good to be home and racing in our own pool,” commented Coach Harper. As for the team’s approach to the meet, Harper said, “our team had a better focus and were able to execute better technique that we had especially emphasized in practice.” A handful of Hogs swam in different races than they have so far this season and earned wins in some races. “I loved the way our team embraced competing in some different events with their teammates,” remarked Harper on the Razorbacks’ ability and willingness to compete.

The Razorbacks will be back in action on Friday and Saturday at home. Razorback Diving will host the Arkansas Diving Invitational on Friday at 7:00pm. Razorback Swimming will host SEC opponent Vanderbilt on Saturday morning at 10:00am.
