Hogs' Win Streak Ends at No. 7 Mississippi State
STARKVILLE, Miss. – No. 1 Arkansas soccer (9-1-1, 4-1-0 SEC) ended its eight-match win streak Friday night to No. 7 Mississippi State (10-1-0, 4-0-0 SEC). The Hogs were shut out, 1-0, for the first time this season.
The Bulldogs made a 20th-minute goal stick after Ally Perry scored from the corner, her seventh goal of the season. The ball bounced through six Arkansas defenders before it found itself in the back of the net.
The Razorbacks were held to just five shots with one on frame, the fewest this season. The Bulldogs fired off 15 shots, the most Arkansas has given up in SEC play this year.
Despite the loss, Arkansas remains atop the SEC standings with 12 points, tied with Mississippi State.

The Hogs will return to Fayetteville and face Tennessee (7-1-3, 2-0-2 SEC) on Thursday, Oct. 10. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. and the match will be streamed live on SEC Network Plus.
