Jackson Gets First AVCA All-Region Honor

To cap off an incredible career at Arkansas, senior Courtney Jackson has earned AVCA regional honors for the first time.

The libero was named AVCA All-Central Region Honorable Mention, the first regional nod for her and the 53rd for Arkansas in program history. The recognition for Jackson comes after she earned All-SEC honors earlier this month.

Jackson was consistently one of the top liberos in the SEC all season, registering 4.49 digs/set. At the conclusion of the regular season, that also put her in the top 70 nationally. Her digs/set mark was a new personal single season high and the most for any Hog in a single season since Okiana Valle’s 5.30 in 2018.

The Olathe, Kan. native’s impact on the program will be felt for years to come as she finishes third in program history in total digs with 1,738, and 3.85 digs per set, fourth best.

She was Arkansas’ starting libero in all four years and led the team in digs in each. Jackson tallied five 25+ dig matches in her career, and also set the program record for digs in a single match at Tulsa this season with 40.
