Jenna Lawrence Returns to SEC Community Service Team
FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas junior forward Jenna Lawrence was placed on the SEC Community Service Team for the second-straight year, the league office announced Wednesday.
Lawrence led the Razorback women’s basketball team with over 20 hours of service to organizations like the American Cancer Society summer camp, the 7Hills Shelter toiletry drive, Suits and Sneakers, numerous local assisted living facilities and the Genesis Church food kitchen.
The Melbourne, Arkansas native also participated as a guest reader at local elementary schools and Shop with the Razorbacks, where local children were paired with Arkansas student-athletes during the holiday season.
This season, Lawrence is averaging 7.7 points per game and 3.9 rebounds per game while leading the team in free-throw percentage at 90% (45-50).
Lawrence and the Hogs will return to the floor on Thursday, Feb. 26 at No. 7 Oklahoma.
