Jordan Anthony named to 2025 Bowerman watch list

FAYETTEVILLE – Razorback sprinter Jordan Anthony is on the recent watch list for the 2025 Bowerman award after receiving votes on previous watch list announcements this season.

Undefeated this year among four NCAA and SEC Championship finals, Anthony has set Arkansas school records in the 60m indoors and 100m outdoors while ranking second in the 200m outdoors.

Finishing the 2025 SEC Outdoor Championships as the high point scorer with 21.5 points to earn the Commissioner’s trophy, Anthony became just the third sprinter to sweep SEC titles in the 100m and 200m with sub-10 and sub-20 second times.

Anothony first posted a 9.95 to win the SEC 100m and improved his UA record of 9.98 from winning the Mt. SAC Relays 100m title in April.

Entering the SEC weekend with a 200m PR of 20.35 that dated back to high school, Anthony ripped a 20.10 in the prelims. Then he delivered a stellar 19.93 in the final, coming very close to the UA record of 19.89 set by Wallace Spearmon, Jr. in 2005.

Anthony is the current collegiate leader in the 100m with a wind-legal 9.95 and ranks second among collegians in the 200m. On the 2025 world list, Anthony ranks No. 4 in the 100m and No. 5 in the 200m.
