Jordan Anthony part of two John McDonnell Invite meet records

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas sprinter Jordan Anthony was part of two meet records during the John McDonnell Invitational as he anchored the 4 x 100m relay to victory and won the 200m.

The first running event for the Razorbacks produced a meet record in the 4 x 100m relay as the foursome of Connor Washington, Tevijon Williams, Jaden Smith, and Anthony registered a winning time of 38.97.

That bettered the meet record of 39.06 set in 2024 by Arkansas and ranks No. 10 on the UA all-time list. Finishing behind Arkansas were Pittsburg State (39.59) and Central Arkansas (40.22).

Later in the meet Anthony broke the meet record in 200m with a winning time of 20.36 (1.4 wind). His PR of 20.35 is from his high school days and the 20.36 is equal No. 8 on the UA all-time list, matching the time for Wallace Spearmon, Sr.
