Lady Razorbacks have excelled at the national level in both swimming and diving. Karen Gorham took Arkansas’ diving program to new levels by sweeping through the national competitions as a freshman, winning both the AIAW and U.S. Diving titles on her way to being named the national diver of the year. Cheryl McArton holds a similar position in swim history as the first Olympian at Arkansas and a multiple all-American. A freestyle and medley specialist, she held six Arkansas records when she finished her career.
