Lawrence Placed on SEC Community Service Team

FAYETTEVILLE – Jenna Lawrence, a forward on the Arkansas women’s basketball team, was tabbed to the SEC Community Service Team. She is Arkansas’ representative for the award, being one of 16 in the league among the women’s basketball programs.

The Melbourne, Arkansas native was part of the Arkansas International Service Trip and has been an active participant in Student-Athlete Advisory Committee community initiatives. Lawrence leads the team with over 20 hours of service. She has done work with Miracle League, Suits and Sneakers, and local elementary schools.

Additionally, Lawrence was involved with the Suits and Sneakers Gala, a big event held in Northwest Arkansas to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society, as well as has partaken in autograph sessions following mostly every Sunday home game.

Lawrence and the Hogs will play their final home game of the season on Thursday night against Missouri.
