Lewis Lady'Backs do well at Harder Hall
FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas senior Stacy Lewis posted a final round 74 finishing third overall a the 53rd Harder Hall Invitational in Sebring, Fla., this weekend.
Lewis, a The Woodlands, Texas, native, was consistent throughout the event bobbing between the top four spots before finishing third. Lewis opened play with 74-71, moving into the Championship Flight on the par 72, 6,151-yard course at Harder Hall Country Club.
She wrapped up with a 70-74 finishing with a 289, just eight strokes off the lead. Alison Walshe won the event with a 281 (72-73-68-68) followed by Taylore Karles (74-66-72-72) with a 284.
Lady Razorback teammates Lucy Nunn, Tiffany Phelps and Alex Schulte also played well advancing to the Championship Flight.
Nunn, a Lawton, Okla., native, finished 21st with a 306 (81-77-77-71), followed by Phelps who was 30th with a 317 (80-77-82-78). Schulte rounded out the Arkansas scores in the Championship Flight finishing 34th with a 322 (78=81-81-82).
