FAYETTEVILLE – The #12/13 Arkansas men’s basketball program will host #15/12 Gonzaga for an exhibition game at Bud Walton Arena on Saturday (Oct. 24) at 3 pm. The game will be streamed on SEC Network+ and broadcast on the Learfield Razorback Sports Network.

Both Arkansas home exhibition games (Gonzaga Saturday and Memphis on Oct. 28) are not part of the 2026-27 season ticket package. Tickets can be purchased by clicking HERE. Also, parking will be free and on a first-come, first-served basis except for a few protected lots. While parking is free, lots will only be open for the basketball games two hours prior to tipoff. Click HERE for available parking lots for the exhibitions. As a reminder, doors to Bud Walton Arena open 90 minutes prior to tipoff.

• Arkansas is 76-11 all-time in exhibition games, including a 67-9 mark at home. The Razorbacks have won 40 straight home exhibition games.
• Playing one of the top teams in the country in an exhibition game is not new for Arkansas. In previous years, Arkansas hosted 2024-25 preseason #1 Kansas (and won 85-69) and hosted 2023-24 preseason #1 Purdue (and won 81-77 in OT). Prior to the 2022-23 campaign, Arkansas, preseason #10, played at #12 Texas in an exhibition to christen the Longhorns’ new Moody Center. Texas won 90-60.

NOTES:

  • This will be the first of two exhibitions for Arkansas. The Razorbacks host Memphis on Wednesday (Oct. 28).
  • This will be the first exhibition game for both Arkansas and Gonzaga.
  • The exhibition games will not count toward the 2026-27 record or against the teams’ all-time series results.
  • Officially, Arkansas and Gonzaga have only met twice, with each team winning once. The Bulldogs won 91-81 in the 2013 Maui Invitational. Kevin Pangos scored 34 points (making 7-of-8 from 3PT) to lead the Zags. Arkansas was led by Bobby Portis (18 points) and Alandise Harris (17 points). Arkansas evened the series, taking down #1 Gonzaga in the 2022 NCAA Sweet 16 in San Francisco. JD Notae scored 21 points while Jaylin Williams had 15 points and 12 rebounds. However, Trey Wade was the headliner, scoring 15 points (going 3-of-4 from 3PT) and grabbing seven rebounds, while Drew Timme scored 25 points and Chet Holmgren recorded a double-double (11 points and 14 rebounds) for Gonzaga.
  • Coach Cal is 4-2 all-time versus Gonzaga. Cal won his first four meetings against the Bulldogs, playing home-and-home series while at Memphis from 2005-02 to 2008-09. Coach Few and his Bulldogs won the last two meetings versus Cal’s Kentucky Wildcats on Nov. 20, 2022, in Spokane and Feb. 10, 2024, in Lexington.
  • In a growing trend, Razorback head coach and Naismith Hall of Famer John Calipari (Class of 2015) will be facing a fellow Hall of Famer on the opposing bench. Gonzaga head coach Mark Few was inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2026. Not only are John Calipari and Mark Few both in the Naismith Hall of Fame, but, did you know, Coach Cal was one of the three presenters for Few at his induction ceremony, along with John Stockton and Grant Hill.
