McMakin Recaps Successful Fall Campaign

• Arkansas captured an 11-shot victory at the Mountaineer Intercollegiate and has won at least one tournament in each of the last 11 seasons.

• The strong fall finish pushed head coach Brad McMakin’s squad to a head-to-head fall record of 42-17.

• McMakin recorded his 23rd tournament victory at the helm of the Razorbacks.

• The Razorbacks finished in the top six of all five fall tournaments, including a victory and third place finish in the last two events.

• Junior Alvaro Ortiz led the team with a 70.4 stroke average this fall that featured three top five finishes and a cumulative score of 14-under in 15 rounds.

• The Razorbacks will return to action in February, opening the spring season on Feb. 6-7, 2017, at the Sea Best Invitational at TPC Sawgrass.
