Meet the Razorbacks set for Feb. 6

FAYETTEVILLE – The 2009 University of Arkansas Razorback baseball team will hold its annual "Meet the Razorbacks Day" at center court of the Northwest Arkansas Mall, Friday, Feb. 6, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

This is the 14th year for the event, which features head coach Dave Van Horn and the Razorback baseball team. Fans are encouraged to come get autographs and have their pictures taken with their favorite players. The Razorback Diamond Dolls, Mascots and R.B.I. Girls will also be in attendance.

"We want to give the fans an opportunity to come out and meet the Razorback baseball team," Associate Athletic Director of Marketing and Licensing Matt Shanklin said. "We are expecting a great season and our fans always play a big part in our success. We want to give them an opportunity to get to know their team."

The Razorbacks start their season hosting Washington State on Friday, Feb. 20. Game time is set for 3:05 p.m. The series continues Saturday and Sunday at 1:05 p.m.
