Men’s Tennis Complete Day Two of ITF Fayetteville Futures

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s tennis team continued competition at the ITF 15K Fayetteville Futures today with freshman Benedikt Emesz taking the courts in the first round of the main draw.

In the only Razorback match of the day, all eyes were on Benedikt Emesz as he faced Alexander Petrov of Illinois on court one. It was a tough battle with Petrov claiming the first set 6-3, Emesz kept it close in the second ultimately falling 6-4.

Arkansas will have four Razorbacks on the courts tomorrow as singles main draw action continues and doubles begins. Adrien Burdet gets the day started on court one at 9 a.m. CT, followed by Melvin Manuel for singles play. In doubles, the two Americans Foster Rogers and Jake Sweeney will start followed by the duo of Adrien Burdet and Melvin Manuel.

Fans are welcome to attend throughout the week with free admission. Matches will be streamed on PlaySight.
