
Men’s Tennis Continue Fall at ITA All-American Championships
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s tennis team continues its fall season as they travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma to compete in the ITA All-American Championships, held Saturday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 9 at the Michael D. Case Center on the University of Tulsa’s campus as well as the Case Tennis Center in LaFortune Park.
The tournament features the top collegiate talent with nineteen of the top twenty-ranked player in the ITA Preseason Rankings in the singles main draw. The players will be competing for the first national championships of the fall season.
Pre-qualifying action is set to kick off on Saturday for both All-American Championships, while Qualifying play will run from Oct. 3-4, and Main Draw play from Oct. 5-9.
The Razorbacks will have seven players competing at the event in both singles and doubles play. In the qualifying draw, junior Melvin Manuel will compete in the singles portion as well as in the doubles with partner, Adrien Burdet. Five players will kick off action in the pre-qualifying draw: Adrien Burdet, Alan Sau Franco, Oscar Pinto Sansano, Jake Sweeney and Foster Rogers.
Cracked Racquets will provide coverage of the main draw action with a CrossCourt Cast through the Cracked Racquets YouTube page. Draws and live scoring will be available throughout the event on the tournament homepage.
