Men’s Tennis Hosts ITF Pro Tournament
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Billingsley Tennis Center will host some of the best young players from around the world as Arkansas hosts the ITF tournament as part of the USTA Fayetteville Futures from Monday, September 19 to Sunday, September 25. The Razorbacks are hosting their third straight pro tournament.
The main draw will feature top collegiate talent with Tyler Zink of Georgia, Tadeas Paroulek of Baylor, Sam Riffice of Florida, and Oscar O’Hoisin of Wisconsin set to compete.
The Razorbacks have three players set to compete in the qualifying draw beginning on Monday. Freshman Benedikt Emesz is looking to capitalize off of his win in the 5K ITA Fall Circuit while returners Adrien Burdet and Melvin Manuel continue to build off of their performances last week.
Starting out the day in the singles qualifying round on Court one is sophomore Jake Sweeney who will face Petar Jovanovic at 10 a.m., Junior Foster Rogers will take the court after for a matchup against Petar Teodorovic. At 12:30 p.m., Alan Sau Franco will compete in the qualifying round, taking on Ewen Lumsden on Court 1.
Fans are welcome to attend throughout the week with free admission. Matches will be streamed on PlaySight.
