
Men’s Tennis ready for matches with Oral Roberts, at No. 15 Oklahoma State
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Razorback Men’s Tennis (5-1) finishes up their homestand with a match against Oral Roberts (0-2) on Friday, Feb. 12 and then travels to face 15th-ranked Oklahoma State on Sunday, Feb. 14.

Last Time Out
The Razorbacks picked up wins at the top three spots in singles action, but Arkansas dropped its first match of the season against the Oklahoma Sooners on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 4-3.
No. 72 Alex Reco continued his undefeated streak with a 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 win over Alex Martinez at the No. 2 spot to move to 6-0. At the No. 3 position, Nico Rousset upset 69th-ranked Mason Beiler with a 7-5, 6-4 sweep to improve his record to 5-1 this spring. Maxim Verboven capped off the night at No. 1 singles with a three set win over Jake Van Emburgh, 6-4, 3-6, 6-1.
Scouting the Golden Eagles
Oral Roberts comes to Fayetteville with an 0-2 record that includes two 7-0 losses at Wichita State and at Tulsa. This will be just the third match for the Golden Eagles after already having four matches cancelled this spring. ORU has utilized the same lineup at the top three singles positions, going with Volodymyr Zokharov (No. 1), Marcello Moreira (No. 2), and Albert Chudy (No. 3).
Scouting the Cowboys
Oklahoma State holds a pair of victories over Wichita State and Tulsa this spring. Four Cowboys were ranked in the ITA preseason rankings and the duo of Matej Vocel and Dominik Kellovsky are the third-ranked doubles pairing in the NCAA. OSU is 4-1 in doubles matches this season and five Cowboys are currently 2-0 in singles action.
Oklahoma State was scheduled to host Ole Miss in Stillwater on Friday, Feb. 12 but that match was postponed due to inclement weather.
