Men's Tennis Releases 2023 Fall Schedule
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas men’s tennis head coach Jay Udwadia announced the team’s 2023 fall schedule Wednesday, opening fall competition this weekend in two events.
The Razorbacks kick off their 2023 fall slate in a pair of simultaneous competitions from September 8-10 as they travel to Kansas for the Wichita State 5K Fall UTR, and to Midland, Texas, for the Racquet Club 14K Prize Money Event. Arkansas then hosts its first of two tournaments at Billingsley Tennis Center, competing in the UTR Pro Tennis Tour, which runs from September 18-24.
The Razorbacks are set to travel to Oklahoma for three consecutive events – the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa (September 30-October 8), the ITA Central Region Championships hosted by Oklahoma State University (October 18-22), and the ITF M15 Norman as part of the USTA Futures (October 23-29).
Various members of Arkansas’ squad will then play in potentially three overlapping tournaments, starting with the ITF M15 Fayetteville as part of the USTA Futures at Billingsley Tennis Center, running October 30-November 5. The ITA Fall National Championships will take place from November 1-5 in San Diego, California, in which players will have the chance to qualify for the event through the preceding ITA fall championship competitions or other selection criteria. The Razorbacks will also take part in the Ralston/Neufeld Coaches Challenge hosted by Southern Methodist University from November 3-5.
Arkansas will conclude the fall season with a pair of UTR Pro Tennis Tour events in Fort Worth, Texas, (November 13-19) and Winston-Salem, North Carolina (November 26-December 3).
