Men’s Tennis to welcome Oklahoma to Billingsley Tennis Center

The Razorbacks won their fifth-straight of the spring and earned their first win over Washington since 1994. Arkansas won its fourth doubles point in-a-row and added four singles wins for a 5-2 victory.
Alex Reco is now 4-0 against nationally ranked opponents over the last two dual seasons after a 6-2, 6-3 win over No. 65 Jack Davis. Melvin Manuel and Adrien Burdet moved to 5-0 in singles play with straight sets victories at the No. 4 and 5 position, respectively. Nico Rousset capped off the victory with a third set tiebreak win at the No. 3 spot over Ewen Lumsden.
Scouting the Sooners
Oklahoma brings a 4-4 record to Fayetteville, but half of those matches have come against nationally ranked opponents. The Sooners swept No. 12 Wake Forest, 4-0 at the ITA Kickoff Weekend on Jan. 23rd. Mason Beiler was ranked No. 69 in the ITA preseason rankings and has split duties at the No. 1 spot with Jake Van Emburgh and Mark Mandlik. The Sooners have used three different combinations at the No. 1 doubles spot and have won three straight doubles points.
