MGolf As Dominant in Classroom As It Was on Course

FAYETTEVILLE – The Arkansas men’s golf team is coming off one of its most successful fall campaigns both on the course and in the classroom.

On the course, the Razorbacks played in four events with wins at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational and the SEC Match Play while adding a runner-up finish at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup and a third-place finish at the Carmel Cup. Individually, Luke Long was medalist at the Blessings and Mateo Fernandez de Oliveira claimed the Stephens Cup title.

In the classroom, the men’s golf program posted a 3.516 grade point average (GPA) and had the highest GPA of all the Razorback men’s teams for Fall 2021.

A total of 10 Razorbacks were recognized by the Department of Athletics for posting at least a 3.0 GPA and three of those added University academic recognition.
