Miseviciute still at the top Lady'Backs No. 22 in latest ITA rankings

FAYETTEVILLE – After being idled for a week, the 22nd-ranked University of Arkansas Lady Razorback tennis team remained among the top twenty-five teams in the nation in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings on Tuesday.

Junior Aurelija Miseviciute stayed atop the women’s college tennis world with a No. 1 ranking in singles for the third consecutive week. Teammate Ela Kaluder entered the singles rankings for the first time this season at No. 122 after going 5-5 in her last ten matches, and is currently 3-1 in Southeastern Conference play.

In doubles the two juniors, Miseviciute and Kaluder, combined to appear at No. 32, while teammates Audrey Bordeleau and Anouk Tigu emerged tied at No. 50.

The Lady’Backs, 10-5, 3-1 in SEC, next match will be on Friday when they travel to Knoxville, Tenn. to take on 20th-ranked Tennessee Lady Vols.
