Moore Takes Sixth In Thorpe Cup

BERNHAUSEN, Germany – Arkansas Alum Gabe Moore wrapped up competition at the 26th annual Thorpe Cup this past weekend at Fleinsbachstadion/Bernhausen Stadium, helping Team USA to a second-place finish.
Moore finished sixth in the competition, fourth among Americans, scoring 7,514 pts over the 10-event international meet. Moore posted marks of 11.02 (100-meters), 6.87m/22-6.50 (long jump), 14.54m/47-8.50 (shot put), 1.91m/6-3.25 (high jump), 49.93 (400-meters), 15.59 (110-meter hurdles), 44.26m/145-2 (discus), 4.40m/14-5.25 (pole vault), 61.42m/201-6 (javelin), and 5:01.57 (1,500-meters).
