
No. 11 Arkansas and Missouri Play to Scoreless Draw
COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 11 Arkansas soccer (7-2-3, 6-1-2 SEC) tied Missouri (4-10-2, 1-7-1 SEC), 0-0, on Sunday afternoon in Columbia.
The Hogs were held to just two shots in the first half and did not produce any real scoring chances until late in the game.
Arkansas controlled possession for a 25-minute period in the second half and added 11 shots and eight corner kicks, but couldn’t get anything across the goal line. The Tigers were forced to make four saves in the second half.
Possession evened out in the final five minutes. The Razorbacks outshot the Tigers, 13-6, for the match.
The draw put Arkansas at 20 points in the SEC standings, ahead of second-place Georgia and Tennessee. The Bulldogs’ and Vols’ Sunday matches kick off late afternoon.
