

No. 37 Men's Tennis Set to Open SEC Slate Against No. 51 Ole Miss, No. 22 Oklahoma
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 37 Arkansas men’s tennis team (10-3) opens its SEC slate this weekend as the Hogs host No. 51 Ole Miss (8-1) on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. before heading to Edmond, Okla. to face No. 22 Oklahoma (7-2) on Monday, Feb. 24 at 12 p.m.
The Razorbacks split their road doubleheader last time out versus MTSU and Tennessee State. In the first match, Benni Emesz and Lukas Palovic grabbed the only points for Arkansas against the Blue Raiders, defeating Matsuoka and Kroslak on courts five and three, respectively.
The Hogs rebounded in the second match by taking the doubles point and claiming three singles courts en route to a 4-0 victory over Tennessee State. Jakub Vrba re-entered the latest ITA singles rankings at No. 102.
The No. 51 Rebels have started the year 8-1 and will travel to face No. 4 Texas on Monday, Feb. 24 after their match against the Razorbacks. Matthieu Chambonniere leads the team with seven singles wins while primarily playing at the No. 4 and 5 positions. The Ole Miss lineup also features Marcel Kamrowski and Noah Schlagenhauf, who have competed on courts one and two this season. Loan Lestir earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors on Jan. 22 after the Rebel’s victories over Eastern Kentucky (twice) and Memphis. In doubles, the duo of Chambonniere and Benjamin Martin headline the lineup with a 5-1 record across all three courts this spring.
No. 22 Oklahoma is coming off a 4-0 road loss to then-No. 9 San Diego to conclude its non-conference slate. The Sooners are led by No. 96 Luis Alvarez, No. 123 Oscar Lacides and Kholo Montsi, who have all primarily played at the top three positions this year. Jordan Hasson also highlights the Oklahoma singles lineup with a perfect 5-0 record this dual season. Alvarez and Montsi have posted undefeated doubles records for the Sooners, including a 7-0 mark when teaming up and a 6-0 record on court two.

PARKING INFORMATION
Due to the MBB home game versus No. 15/16 Missouri on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m., parking for this weekend’s matches at Billingsley Tennis Center has been altered.
Spectators will be able to utilize all of the normal lots for the men’s match at 12 p.m. However, fans will only be able to use the free lots for the women’s match at 4 p.m. The free lots are colored DARK GRAY in the picture below.
UAPD will begin ticketing and towing illegally parked vehicles at 4 p.m. Spectators attending the men’s match and staying for the women’s match will need to move their car to one of the DARK GRAY lots shown below.
