
No. 62 Women's Tennis Plays Host to No. 12 Oklahoma to Start SEC Play, Travels to Tulsa
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 62 Arkansas women’s tennis team (3-3) opens its SEC slate with a match against No. 12 Oklahoma (7-1) on Saturday, February 22, at 4 p.m. at Billingsley Tennis Center. The Razorbacks then travel for a non-conference matchup with the Golden Hurricane (8-3), at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 24.
The Hogs fell to Kansas and Wisconsin last time out, dropping both matches 4-3. Arkansas claimed the doubles point in each match, as the duo of Olga Bienzobas and Carolina Gomez went 2-0, including a ranked win over No. 37 Taylor Cataldi and Ellison Reynoldson. No. 78 Anet Koskel and Grace O’Donnell are 2-1 to start the season.
The Razorbacks picked up four singles victories from four different players in their previous two matches, including Koskel and Katarinna Pavlechova against Wisconsin, along with Bienzobas and O’Donnell in the match versus Kansas. With the win, Koskel collected her fourth singles victory of the season and is now tied for the team lead with No. 93 C. Gomez.
The No. 12 Sooners have started the year 7-1 and most recently lost to No. 2 Texas A&M on Feb. 10. In singles, junior No. 12 Julia Garcia Ruiz is 2-1 and senior No. 33 Alina Shcerbinina has posted a 5-1 record this spring. Oklahoma features four ranked players in Garcia Ruiz, Shcherbinina, No. 64 Emma Staker and No. 105 Ava Catanzarite. For doubles, the duo of No. 40 Cara Mester and Shcherbinina are 3-3 this spring, while Garcia Ruiz and Chloe Noel also have three doubles wins.
Tulsa is coming off a loss to 4-2 loss to Purdue on Feb. 16. The Golden Hurricane will host No. 48 Rice on Friday before their match against the Razorbacks on Monday. Tulsa is led in singles wins by No. 99 Maria Berlanga, who is 8-2 at the No. 1 position. No. 46 Berlanga and Lily Hutchings head the Golden Hurricanes doubles lineup with a 7-2 record this season.

PARKING INFORMATION
Due to the MBB home game versus No. 15/16 Missouri on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m., parking for this weekend’s matches at Billingsley Tennis Center has been altered.
Spectators will be able to utilize all of the normal lots for the men’s match at 12 p.m. However, fans will only be able to use the free lots for the women’s match at 4 p.m. The free lots are colored DARK GRAY in the picture below.
UAPD will begin ticketing and towing illegally parked vehicles at 4 p.m. Spectators attending the men’s match and staying for the women’s match will need to move their car to one of the DARK GRAY lots shown below.
