No. 7/8 Arkansas Continues Homestand With Wooo Pig Classic
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 7/8 Arkansas continues its 14-game homestand Thursday-Friday (Feb. 26-March 1) by hosting Omaha, Boise State, Charlotte and Kansas as part of the 2026 Wooo Pig Classic at Bogle Park.
Arkansas opens play on Thursday with Omaha at 4 p.m. The Razorbacks will then take on Boise State (4:45 p.m.) and Charlotte (7 p.m.) on Friday before returning to action on Saturday against Omaha (2:30 p.m.) and Charlotte (4:45 p.m.). The Razorbacks will conclude the weekend on Sunday with Kansas at 12:15 p.m.
All of the Razorbacks’ games, excluding the Sunday matchup against Kansas, will be streamed on SEC Network+.
The Hogs are 13-1 this season with nine wins coming by run-rule. Arkansas is coming off a 5-0 showing during the Razorback Invitational last weekend, earning three victories over Northwestern and beating SEMO twice. The Hogs are outscoring opponents 146-23 this season.
Arkansas entered the fourth week of the 2026 season as a consensus top 10 team nationally, having garnered preseason rankings of No. 8, No. 7, No. 7 and No. 5 in the ESPN/USA Softball, NFCA/GoRout D1 Coaches, D1 Softball and Softball America Top 25 Polls.
The Arkansas Razorbacks, one of the nation’s most successful programs in recent years, have been ranked in the Top 25 of the NFCA Coaches poll for a program-best 92 consecutive weeks dating back to the start of the 2020 season. Arkansas is one of five programs nationally to have appeared in the Top 25 of every NFCA Coaches Poll since the start of the 2020 season, joining Oklahoma, Florida, UCLA, and Florida State.

PRODUCING AT THE PLATE
Arkansas ranked among the nation’s leaders in numerous categories at the beginning of the week, including batting average (5th, .403), runs per game (3rd, 10.43), hits (12th, 152), on-base percentage (7th, .492), RBI per game (4th, 9.29), slugging percentage (10th, .660) and total runs (7th, 146).
Arkansas is outscoring opponents 146-23 through 14 games this season while earning nine wins by way of run-rule.
The Hogs set an opening weekend program record with 60 runs scored over five games at the Kickin’ Chicken Classic (Feb. 6-8). During a 21-3 victory over Akron (Feb. 8), Arkansas registered 18 hits, which was the most in a single game since the Hogs had 18 during a 15-5 win over Nebraska on Feb. 9, 2020, in Las Cruces, N.M. The Hogs’ 21 runs scored were also the second most in a single game in program history.
WE GOT GLOVES
The Hogs are coming off a perfect fielding weekend at the Razorback Invitational and were fielding .991 this season entering the week, which ranks second nationally, trailing only Mississippi State .992.
Arkansas is currently on a program record nine-game errorless streak. The previous program-best errorless streak was seven from March 21-April 1, 2022.
The Razorbacks led the nation with a .984 fielding percentage during the 2025 season, making just 24 errors in 1,471 total chances. Arkansas was the first SEC team to lead the nation in fielding percentage since 2019, when Florida accomplished the feat. The Hogs’ .984 fielding percentage ranked tied for 6th in NCAA history.
Arkansas is one of four programs to finish the last two seasons ranked in the top 10 nationally in fielding percentage, joining the likes of Florida Atlantic, Omaha and Oklahoma. During that span, Arkansas ranks second nationally in fielding percentage, trailing only Florida Atlantic by one 1000th of a percentage point.
Arkansas is 184-48 when not committing an error under Courtney Deifel and 393-184 when accomplishing the feat since 1998.
SOOIE SPINNERS
The Hogs own a 1.79 ERA in 82 innings with 103 strikeouts while limiting opponents to a .185 batting average this season. Arkansas ranks 11th nationally in ERA and fourth nationally in team strikeouts per seven innings (8.79).
Arkansas has registered 49 shutouts since the start of the 2023 season. The Razorbacks are one of only five programs to rank in the top 20 nationally in shutouts in 2023, 2024, 2025, joining the likes of Oklahoma, Boston, Tennessee and Cal State Fullerton. Arkansas currently ranks fifth nationally with five shutouts this season.
Arkansas finished 2025 ranked 10th nationally with 15 shutouts and ranked 19th nationally in shutouts in 2024 with 14 and 17th nationally in 2023 with 17.
Excluding the 2020 COVID-shortened season, Arkansas is just one of seven schools to post 11+ shutouts in every season dating back to 2018, alongside Boston, Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma, Texas and UCLA.
ROB CAN SPIN IT
Robyn Herron is 6-0 this season with a 1.33 ERA and 49 strikeouts while allowing just five runs on 11 hits and three walks in 22.0 innings of work. She is limiting opposing hitters to a .122 batting avg.
The Tampa, Fla., product ranked among the nation’s leaders in strikeouts per seven innings (3rd, 13.0), wins (8th, 6), WHIP (6th, 0.57) and shutouts (14th, 2)
In a 6-0 triumph over Northwestern, Herron became just the third Arkansas pitcher in program history to toss three no-hitters during their Razorback career, alongside Heather Schlichtman (3, 2001-2004) and Mary Haff (3, 2018-22). The Tampa, Fla., product struck out 12 of her 22 batters faced while allowing only two Northwestern batters to reach. Herron retired her final 14 batters faced (Feb. 20).
She was named SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week and Wilson/NFCA Pitcher of the Week after striking out 15 and allowing one hit, two walks and no runs during 6.2 innings pitched during the States Up! Invitational on Feb. 13-15.
DAVISON DESTROYING SOFTBALLS
INF Karlie Davison is batting .438 this season with five doubles, a triple, three homers and 14 RBI and seven runs scored while posting a team-best .938 slugging percentage to go along with a .500 on-base percentage.
Last weekend, the Torrance, Calif., product batted .462 with a team-high seven RBI to go along with two home runs, a triple, three doubles, six hits and three runs scored while posting a 1.308 slugging percentage during the Hogs’ 5-0 showing at the Razorback Invitational.
She went 3-5 during day two of the Razorback invitational with two homers, a triple, five RBI and two runs scored as Arkansas defeated Northwestern (7-0) and SEMO (16-2, 5 inn.). In a 16-2 win over SEMO on Feb. 21, Davison became the ninth Arkansas player in program history and first since KB Sides in 2022 (April 10) to drive in three runs, homer and triple in the same game with a 2-2 performance that featured a triple, a homer and three RBI in a 16-2 win over SEMO.
10 K WILL PLAY
Arkansas is 82-10 all-time when an individual pitcher records 10+ strikeouts in a single game. Under Courtney Deifel (2016-present), Arkansas is 42-3 when an individual pitcher registers 10+ strikeouts in a game. Robyn Herron leads all current Razorbacks with 13 games of 10+ strikeouts.
MISS VERSATILITY
Kailey Wyckoff is batting .472 with six doubles, eight RBI and five walks while being hit by a pitch twice this season. She had a 4-7 day at the plate that featured two doubles during day one of the Razorback Invitational (Feb. 20).
During her four seasons of college softball, Wyckoff has appeared all over the field, with nine or more starts at five different positions. She has appeared in 61 games at catcher, 81 games in right field, 12 games in left field, 12 games at designated player and nine games at first base.
She has reached base safely (errors excluded) in 85.05% (148-174) of her games during her collegiate career. Her 196 career hits ranked 19th among all active DI players entering this week. Additionally, she ranked sixth among all active Division I players entering the week with 48 career doubles.
RAMSEY RAKES
Sophomore outfielder Ramsey Walker is batting .563 this season while posting a 1.503 OPS with nine hits, including a home run and three doubles, to go along with eight RBI and 12 runs scored.
Walker’s four pinch hits this season are tied for the third-most over an entire duration of a season in program history, trailing only Linnie Malkin’s 10 in 2019 and five others in second with five.
Walker blasted her first career homer with a pinch-hit three-run shot during the fifth inning of an 11-1 win over Coastal Carolina on Feb. 7. It marked the first pinch-hit HR for an Arkansas player since Jayden Ramos’ three-run blast in a 10-1 win over Illinois on March 1, 2025.
30 SEASONS OF RAZORBACK SOFTBALL
2026 marks the 30th season of Arkansas Softball. The Razorbacks hold an all-time program record of 895-814-1 (.523) with four head coaches in the entirety of its history.
Arkansas played its first official game in program history on Feb. 20, 1997, which was a 4-3 loss to Cal State Northridge during the San Diego State Classic. The Razorbacks rebounded later that same day with a 5-4 triumph over Hawaii to earn the first win in program history. Designated Player Lisa Flores provided the winning runs in the victory with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning.
