No. 9 Hogs unload 10 goals on Northwestern State

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The ninth-ranked Razorbacks improved to 2-0-1 after a 10-0 rout of Northwestern State on Sunday afternoon at Razorback Field.

Arkansas utilized eight different goal scorers, with sophomores Bella Field and Emma Johns each scoring two in the second half.

  • The Hogs scored 10 goals for the first time in program history and scored the most since 2017.
  • Arkansas fired off 47 shots and 26 shots on goal, the most in the Colby Hale era.
  • The eight goal scorers in chronological order: Ava Tankersley, Kate Doyle, Sophia Aragon, Cora Hair, Bella Field, Emma Johns, Van Fitch and Kyndal Ewertz.
  • Aragon, Field, Johns and Fitch netted their first goals of the season. Hair and Ewertz scored the first of their careers.
  • Johns recorded her first career brace after missing most of the 2023 season with injury.
  • Fitch scored her first goal since 2021 against Northwestern State in the NCAA Tournament first round.
  • Anaiyah Robinson and Ella Rogers picked up their first starts as Razorbacks.
  • Dejionee Anderson, Kyndal Ewertz, Morgan Hippeli and Jordan Hall made their Arkansas debuts. Ewertz and Hippeli made their collegiate debuts.
  • The Hogs held the Lady Demons to just one shot for the entire match, the fewest since 2018.
