Northcross-Baker Signs with KBF Vellaznimi

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Former Razorback Raven Northcross-Baker signed a deal with KBF Vellaznimi, making her the second Hog this week to announce plans to play professionally in Kosovo. Former Arkansas guard Alexis Tolefree signed a deal with KBF Prishtina on October 4. KBF Vellaznimi plays in the Kosovo Superleague, and has won the Kosovo Cup three times (1992,1995,1996).

Northcross-Baker played two seasons for the Hogs, averaging 4.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game. She had several big performances during her senior seasons including a 16-point showing against Vanderbilt and a 12-point outing against Auburn. She also was a factor in Arkansas’ signature come-from behind win against Texas A&M in the 2019 SEC Tournament, as she chipped in eight points on 50 percent shooting in just 15 minutes played.

Northcross-Baker becomes the third Hog coached by Mike Neighbors to sign a deal with a professional team overseas, joining the aforementioned Tolefree and former Razorback Malica Monk, who signed a deal with Uppsala in Sweden a year ago.
