Perico Returns to South Beach

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas sophomore Julian Perico will make his fourth trip to the South Beach International Amateur, played Dec. 19-22 in Miami, Fla., at Miami Beach Golf Club and Normandy Shores Golf Course.

The South Beach International Amateur is the world’s sixth-ranked amateur golf tournament.

Perico tied for 45th (69-71-69-74/-3) in his first appearance (2016). After missing the cut the following year, Perico bounced back to place 23rd last December (70-73-71-71/E).

Perico will start at 11:19 am ((ET) on hole one at Miami Beach Golf Club. For round two (Dec. 20), he will start on hole one at 8:46 am (ET) at Normandy Shores. There will be cut after 36 holes with round three set for Dec. 21 and the final round set for Dec. 22.

Perico is ranked 98th on the Scratch Players World Amateur Ranking. (NOTE: Fellow Razorbacks William Buh and Mason Overstreet are ranked 66th and 79th, respectively.)
