LAST TIME OUT

  • No. 23 Arkansas is off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2016 following its 96-64 win over Oral Roberts.
  • The Razorbacks were lethal from deep in the commanding win, setting a new program record for threes made in a game, putting down 17 of them on just 32 attempts (53.1 percent.)
  • That percentage is also noteworthy, as it was the seventh highest percentage in program history (min. 10 attempts).
  • The previous high in a game was 15 (UAB, WNIT, 3/24/19).
  • Daniels’ 27 points is a season-high by a Razorback, and the most points scored by a Hog since Chelsea Dungee had 37 points against Houston in the first round of the WNIT last season.
  • For the second time this season, Chelsea Dungee led the Hogs in assists, going for six against Oral Roberts. That is also a new career-high for Dungee.
  • Ramirez set a new Arkansas career-high in points scored, going for 18 in the game.
  • Tolefree also tallied a season-high 18 points.
  • Junior forward Taylah Thomas didn’t score, but grabbed double-digit rebounds (10) for the third straight game to open up the season.

STORYLINES

  • Freshman guard Makayla Daniels was simply sublime against Oral Roberts, dropping a career-high 27 points on an ultra-efficient 8 of 11 clip.
  • Daniels’ 27 points were the most by an Arkansas freshman since Jessica Jackson dropped 31 on Ole Miss back in 2014 (1/19/14).
  • Daniels also hit 6 of her 7 three balls, which is the second highest percentage in program history (min. 6 attempts).
  • Her six treys were also the most by a Hog this season, and the most by a Razorback since Devin Cosper hit six of them against No. 11 Tennessee (2/8/18).
  • Through three games, Taylah Thomas is averaging a staggering 14 boards a game.
  • That is tied for the fourth highest mark in the NCAA so far this season.
  • Thomas is also just one of 45 players in the country to have at least two double-doubles already this season.
