
Preview – Women’s Basketball Hosts Texas A&M for Senior Day
FAYETTEVILLE – The Arkansas women’s basketball team (19-11, 6-9 SEC) closes out the regular season by hosting Texas A&M (7-18, 2-13 SEC) for the final home SEC matchup of the season. Following the game, Arkansas will honor its seniors Chrissy Carr and Avery Hughes, as well as graduate assistant Alexis Sevillian. The game will tipoff at 11 a.m. on SEC Network inside the confines of Bud Walton Arena.

STORYLINES
- Arkansas hosts Texas A&M for Senior Day on Sunday afternoon to cap off the regular season
- The Razorbacks have a three-game losing streak to the Aggies and host Texas A&M for the first time since 2021
- Arkansas has a 23-15 advantage over the Aggies in the all-time series, but since being SEC opponents, the Razorbacks are 1-11
- The team has 19 wins and can earn the program’s 22nd 20-win season with a win on Sunday, third under head coach Mike Neighbors
- The team started the season 13-0 and finished the non-conference slate at 13-2, with its win total leading the country for majority of the non-conference season
- Erynn Barnum leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 16.4 points and is tied for the most rebounds with 6.7 per game. - Daniels keeps moving up in career top 10-20 lists, sitting No. 16 in points (1,364), No. 4 in career starts (115), No. 9 in career 3-pointers (160) and No. 14 in career assists (297)
- Chrissy Carr logs 11.5 points per game and leads the squad with 69 3-pointers
- Saylor Poffenbarger ties for a team’s best 6.7 rebounds per game and leads the team with 34 blocks. She has 176 defensive rebounds and needs 15 more to earn the individual season defensive rebound record
- The team is second in least turnovers committed per game in the SEC with 13.9 per game
- Arkansas gets to the line 23.5 times per game, which is second in the conference and sixth in the country. The Razorbacks’ 15.6 makes from the free throw line per game is second in the SEC and 12th in the NCAA
