Today is the day. Buckle up! Tonight is the FREE live-stream of the next episode of 100 Seasons of Razorback Basketball. Make sure you tune in to Hogs+ at 7:00pm CT and watch Episode 2 of this in-depth look. Featuring interviews with Tom Boyer, Sidney Moncrief, Ron Brewer, Jim Counce, Joe Kleine, Rick Schaeffer, Matt Zimmerman, Frank Broyles.
> CLASH OF TITANS. With a four-game win streak at its back, No. 22 Arkansas women’s basketball enters the Bayou with a huge matchup against No. 3 LSU. The Tigers are a perfect 18-0 on the year, and the Hogs have also been a clean 5-0 on the road.
The rebound battle will be one to watch in this matchup. LSU is second in the country with nearly 51 rebounds per game, but Arkansas has out-rebounded their last 13 opponents and are a top-10 defensive rebounding team.
Tip-off is set for 8pm tonight with the broadcast on SEC Network. Check out Mike Neighbors’ pre-game presser here.
> WE’RE LOVIN’ IT. In order to be a McDonald’s All-American, you first have to be nominated. Arkansas men’s basketball signees Layden Blocker and Baye Fall accomplished that feat this week as two of over 700 nominations across the country. The final roster of 48 players will be revealed later this month.
> LEAGUE READY. Week in and week out, Arkansas football could always rely on center Ricky Stromberg to get the job done. The Tulsa native is entering the NFL after an incredibly impressive senior campaign. Look no further than Pro Football Focus’ top-10 graded centers. Stromberg’s grade of 82.4 was good enough for the fourth-highest in the country.
> COFFIN NAILS. Arkansas men’s tennis is back at Billingsley Tennis Center after a successful weekend out west, where they defeated San Diego State and UC San Diego to start the year 2-0. The Hogs relied on junior Melvin Manuel to close out both matches with clutch singles victories, and the young Frenchman will look to tact on more wins tomorrow.
> LAST HOME DIVE. Arkansas swimming and diving’s final home meet of the 2022-23 season will begin tomorrow afternoon at 5pm against Kansas and North Texas. While the Jayhawks will be competing against the Razorbacks in all events, the Mean Green will stick to diving.
Saturday is slated to be Senior Day, as Regan Caufield, Vanessa Herrmann, Kobie Melton, Andrea Sansores, Reilly Shaner, and Luciana Thomas will all be honored at 10am.
Needing answers. The Hogs lost a close one in Columbia last night. Z is here to tell us what went wrong in Arkansas’ 79-76 loss to Missouri.
