> TIGERS IN TOWN. Your patience has been rewarded as the Razorbacks are back after a new year’s break. The Hogs will attempt to knock off current SEC top dog Missouri tonight inside Bud Walton Arena.

Memories of the last two meetings between these schools are pretty sweet for the Razorbacks, who doubled up on the Tigers 87-43 almost exactly a year ago, and won comfortably at Columbia later in the season. Now in 2023, both squads are top-20 teams in the latest AP Poll and are the conference’s two best offenses in terms of field goal percentage.

Watch tonight’s 7:30pm tip-off on SEC Network., or snag some seats in the student section while they’re still available!

> RESPECT ON THE ROAD. The Razorback women’s basketball team will look to start another winning streak tomorrow night against the 12-3 Florida Gators. > SHINING LIGHT. Somehow, someway, senior guard Makayla Daniels has flown under the radar this season. Thankfully, numbers never lie, and they say No. 43 is having a season worth celebrating.

  • In just 14 games played, Daniels is still first in total teals (25), and second on the team in total assists (43)
  • Only Samara Spencer and Chrissy Carr have made for three-pointers than Daniels this season, but Daniels leads the team in three-point shooting percentage (39.5%).hey say No. 43 is having a season worth celebrating.
  • Whenever the Hogs needed points from the charity stripe, Daniels has been better than most. Her free-throw percentage of 76.2% is second on the team.

> THAT’S OUR GUY. Arkansas head coach Eric Musselman was at Sassy’s in Fayetteville to discuss the upcoming week with two games on the docket. Hear a positive update on Trevon Brazile, and Lawson Blake and Barry Dunning Jr. also talk about the year so far for the Razorbacks in this week’s episode of Eric Musselman Live.
