Razorback Brew 12/15: Take A Bow
Good morning. We’re got just 10 mornings to go until Christmas Day, so consider this a reminder to get that online shopping done. Not every package makes it out of the North Pole on time!
One of Arkansas’ finest is hoping to get a present of his own tonight, one that he’s very much earned. We’ll get you up to speed.
Now, what has been mixed into today’s Brew?
Ok, Boomer
The newest unanimous All-American
And much, much more!
Good ol’ fashioned revenge. The week began with a tragic injury to one of Arkansas’ best players. But rallying behind each other is exactly what this team does best.
Go behind the scenes of an eventful week for Razorback men’s basketball. See team meetings, go inside the locker room, and experience huddles during the big victory versus Oklahoma. Hear from Nick Smith Jr., Ricky Council IV, and more in this exciting episode of The Follow.
> TAKE A BOW. But only if you’re the ninth-ever Razorback football player to become an unanimous All-American.
That’s what linebacker Drew Sanders accomplished this year. Sanders got the nod from all five All-America outlets this season to give him a clean sweep. No Razorback has done it since Darren McFadden did so during his historic run.
Congrats Drew, and good luck on your NFL journey!
> PREP YOUR SPEECH. Tonight, Razorback NCAA champion Ayden Owens-Delerme learns if he’s the winner of the illustrious Bowerman Award, given to the most outstanding male and female NCAA track and field athlete.
Ayden, who’s one of three men’s finalists for The Bowerman, will be there in person at the Gaylord Rockies for the ceremony, and you can watch from home on YouTube starting at 8pm.
> CHERISH THE CENTENNIAL. The 100th season of Razorback men’s basketball is off to a great start, and fans now have the opportunity to purchase commemorative season tickets and/or individual game tickets for the 2022-23 season.
Each ticket option will feature an exclusive design fans can personalize with their seat location if they attended in person. Both options are perfect to display in your home, office, Razorback room, or give as a gift! A protective lucite display case is also available to purchase.

> AHEAD OF THE REST. Arkansas volleyball’s Taylor Head has been recognized as one of the top players in the conference, region, and now nation in 2022 as the junior earned an All-America Honorable Mention nod from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
It’s the first All-America honor for Head in her career, and the first for Arkansas since 2017. Head received All-SEC honors, and was named AVCA All-South Region for the 2022 season prior to capturing All-America status.
Hey, KJ! Quinn Grovey and Matt Zimmerman catch up with QB1, KJ Jefferson, about his decision to return to Arkansas for another season, bowl prep and more in today’s episode of The Razorback Daily.
