
Razorback MGolf Signs Gordon
FAYETTEVILLE – Hot Springs native and Lakeside HS product Will Gordon has signed a National Letter of Intent with the Arkansas men’s golf program, Razorback head coach Brad McMakin announced.
Gordon, a three-time 5A All-State selection, was runner-up in a playoff at the 2024 Arkansas High School Overall State Championship and placing fifth at the 2023 Overall State Championship. As a senior (2024), he placed third in the 2024 5A state championship and was runner-up at the 2023 5A state championship. As a freshman, he won the 2021 5A state championship while leading Lakeside HS to the team title as well.
JUNIOR HIGHLIGHTS:
- Won the 2025 AJGA Mizuno Junior Championship (77-68-65), played at Hot Springs Country Club – Arlington Course
- Won the 2023 AJGA Junior at Hot Springs (69-71-71)
- Won the 2023 ASGA Junior Match Play Boys Championship, defeating current Razorback Jackson McLaughlin 2&1
- Runner-up at the 2024 Arkansas Junior Match Play
- Runner-up at the 2023 Vaughn Taylor Championship presented by James Hardie (68-67-74)
- 3rd at the 2024 North & South Junior Amateur (69-65-79)
- T3rd at 2024 Team TaylorMade Junior Invitational (68-69-68)
- 4th at the 2024 Mizuno Junior Championship (68-70-77)
- T7th (with current Razorback Gerardo Gomez) at the 2023 AJGA Invitational presented by PING
- T19 at the 2024 PING Junior Invitational (71-79-72)
