Damian Ruiz led Arkansas to a midweek win over UAPB (April 14) at Dickey-Stephens Park and in their three-game series against Georgia (April 16-18) at Baum-Walker Stadium, slashing .417/.632/.833 with seven runs, five hits, two doubles, one home run, a team-leading eight runs batted in, and five walks. Ruiz walked and scored in the third inning and was hit by a pitch in the fifth and seventh innings to reach base against the Golden Lions. The outfielder doubled and scored in the first inning and singled and scored in the fourth inning in the game 1 win against the Bulldogs (April 16). He accounted for six runs, five hits, seven runs batted in, and four walks in three games against Georgia.

Hunter Dietz gave Arkansas another strong outing in game 1 against Georgia (April 16) at Baum-Walker Stadium. Dietz threw 85 pitches over 5.1 innings and allowed only five hits, two runs, one walk, and struck out six Bulldogs in a strong performance that earned him his fourth win of the season.

Rutenbar walked and scored in the first inning, walked in the second inning, singled in the third inning, and walked and scored in the seventh inning against the Golden Lions (April 14). The outfielder walked and scored in the first inning and hit a solo home run in the seventh inning that helped Arkansas secure the victory in game 1 against the Bulldogs (April 16). He accounted for four runs, three hits, and three walks in Arkansas’ 14-run performance in game 3 against Georgia (April 18).
