Diggs hit two home runs and drove in a team-leading 10 RBI in the Hogs’ sweep of the Bulldogs, finishing the weekend 6-for-11 with five runs scored. He recorded at least one hit and one RBI in all three games in Starkville, including a pair of multi-hit performances and multi-RBI efforts. Wood’s five saves, which have all come in SEC play, are tied for fourth most in the league this season and rank second most all freshman SEC relievers this year.

Razorback Notes

  • Arkansas is tied with Vanderbilt (34-13, 17-7 SEC) for the best record in the SEC with two weeks remaining in the regular season.
  • Arkansas has swept four SEC teams — Auburn, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Mississippi State — as part of its 17-7 start to SEC play. The Razorbacks’ four sweeps are the program’s most in SEC play since 2018.
  • With another sweep, the Hogs would tie the program record (5) set by the 1999 Arkansas team.
  • Thanks to its sweep at Mississippi state, Arkansas notched its 11th three-game SEC road sweep under head coach Dave Van Horn.
  • Arkansas evened its all-time series record against Mississippi State at 57-57. The Razorbacks have won 11 of their last 12 games against the Bulldogs.
