Kuhio Aloy impressed in Arkansas’ midweek win against Northwestern State (April 29) and in their three-game series victory against Ole Miss (May 1-3) at Baum-Walker Stadium, slashing .600/.625/1.267 with a team-leading six runs, a team-leading nine hits including a double and three home runs, and a team-leading seven runs batted in, and one walk. Aloy walked and scored in the second inning, singled to right center field and scored in the fourth inning, and singled through the left side in the seventh inning in the Razorbacks’ victory against the Demons. Aloy singled to right field and scored in the first inning, hit a home run to center field in the fourth inning, and hit a walk-off double that helped the Razorbacks run-rule the Rebels 12-2 in game 1 (May 1). Aloy singled to left field in the first inning and homered to left field in the sixth inning in Arkansas’ 5-4 victory against Ole Miss in game 3 (May 3). The junior designated hitter recorded four runs, seven hits, and six runs batted in the series against the Rebels.

Hunter Dietz delivered another strong start in game 1 against Ole Miss (May 1) at Baum-Walker Stadium. Dietz threw 98 pitches over six innings and allowed only four hits, one run, four walks, and struck out nine Rebels. The left hander became the first Southeastern Conference pitcher to reach 100 strikeouts this season in Friday’s game.

Christian Turner made the play of the series for Arkansas in game 3 against Ole Miss (May 3) at Baum-Walker Stadium, slashing 1.000/1.000/4.000 with one run, one hit, one home run, and two runs batted in. In the eighth inning, Turner pinch ran for Zack Stewart in the seventh inning, replaced him in right field in the eighth inning, and impacted the game immediately. After Nolan Souza singled to right field to begin the Arkansas ninth inning, the freshman outfielder hit a two-run walk-off home run to right center field. Turner’s home run helped the Razorbacks defeat the Rebels in game 3 (May 3) and win the series.
