Jared Wegner reached base multiple times in all four games played during the week, leading the Arkansas offense with a .385/.529/.923 slash line to go along with team-best two homers and five RBI. He began his big week going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in the Hogs’ midweek game against SEMO. The power-hitting outfielder swatted a pair of home runs on the road at No. 1 LSU, finishing his weekend in Baton Rouge with multiple RBI in the nightcap of Saturday’s doubleheader.

Hunter Hollan twirled 5 1/3 shutout innings on the road at No. 1 LSU to help Arkansas win the series opener in Baton Rouge. The left-hander matched his career high with seven strikeouts in the Razorbacks’ win, limiting the Tigers to just three hits and a walk.
Freshman of the Week
INF Reese Robinett

Reese Robinett swatted the first two home runs of his collegiate career during the week, helping lead Arkansas to a pair of wins. The true freshman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in the Hogs’ midweek win against SEMO before hit a pinch-hit go-ahead three-run homer in Arkansas’ road win at No. 1 LSU on Friday. Robinett had the first pitch-hit homer by a Razorback since Charlie Welch did so against Nebraska in game three of the 2021 NCAA Fayetteville Regional.
Razorback Notes
- With Tuesday’s win against SEMO, the Razorbacks improved to 6-0 in midweek games this season.
- Arkansas’ winning streak was snapped at 15 games on Saturday at LSU. It marked the Hogs’ longest in-season winning streak under head coach Dave Van Horn.
