TJ Pompey helped lead Arkansas to an undefeated week with wins against Little Rock (April 7) at Baum-Walker Stadium and a three-game series sweep against Alabama (April 10-12) at Sewell-Thomas Stadium, slashing .438/.471/8.75 with five runs, seven hits, one double, two home runs, and six runs batted in. Pompey reached base on a fielder’s choice in the second inning and singled to right field, stole third base, and scored in the fifth inning against the Trojans. The infielder hit a two-run home run that was apart of a six-run eighth inning in game 1 (April 10) and a three-run home run that was apart of a five-run eighth inning in game 2 (April 11). He accounted for four runs, six hits, and six runs batted in three games against the Crimson Tide.

Parker Coil came out of the bullpen and helped Arkansas succeed against Little Rock at Baum-Walker Stadium and against Alabama at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. Over four innings of work against the Trojans and Crimson Tide, Coil allowed only three hits, no runs, two walks, and struck out five batters. The senior left hander retired the final three Crimson Tide batters and earned his second save of the season in a 7-5 game 1 win (April 10). He did not allow a single Alabama batter to reach base in Arkansas’ 3-2 game 3 victory (April 12).

OF Zack Stewart hit the 50th home run of his collegiate career to left field in Arkansas’ 7-0 win against Little Rock on Tuesday (April 7).
