Razorbacks Announce Loaded 2025 Soccer Schedule
FAYETTEVILLE – The 2025 Razorback soccer schedule is here.
Arkansas will play a total of 16 regular season matches and two exhibitions, with 11 of the 18 total matches occurring at Razorback Field. In the non-conference slate, the Hogs will play four teams that were ranked in last year’s United Soccer Coaches top 25: Iowa, Notre Dame, Duke and BYU. In addition to the Cougars, Arkansas will face Georgia Southern and Creighton on the road.
Following the exhibitions against UT-Martin (Aug. 5) and Oral Roberts (Aug. 9), the season will open with back-to-back marquee matchups, with 2024 Big 10 champion Iowa set for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 14 and Elite 8 finishers Notre Dame on Sunday, August 17.
The Hogs will open conference play at Florida on Sept. 11. The following week, Arkansas will host Vanderbilt for Razorback Field’s SEC home opener. Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Alabama and Missouri will also make the trip to Fayetteville. In addition to the Gators, the Razorbacks will visit Texas A&M, South Carolina, Georgia and Missouri.
The SEC Tournament will kick off on Nov. 2, with the championship game set for Nov. 9 at Ashton Brosnaham Soccer Complex in Pensacola, Florida.
Head coach Colby Hale had three goals in mind when putting together the 2025 slate.
“We try and schedule in a way that tests us in every way,” Hale said. “We believe that you grow outside of your comfort zone and we want to make sure we give ourselves the best possible chance to grow as the season progresses. We also schedule to position ourselves for NCAA tournament qualification and possible seeding. Third, we have the best fans in college soccer and we want to give them exciting matchups against the country’s elite programs. We believe we have accomplished all of those goals with this schedule.”
In total, 10 of Arkansas’ 16 opponents were ranked in last year’s top 25, nine of 16 finished inside the NCAA RPI top 50 and eight teams made it to the NCAA Tournament.
