Razorbacks Head Into Three-Match Road Trip
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 30 Arkansas men’s tennis team (10-3) heads back on the road this weekend for three matches over three days.
The slate begins with No. 34 Ole Miss on Friday, Feb. 27 at 3 p.m. in Oxford, Miss. The Razorbacks will then travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala. for a Sunday doubleheader against Alabama at 1 p.m. and Alabama A&M at 5 p.m.
Arkansas is coming off a tight 4-3 loss to South Carolina in its SEC opener Monday. The Hogs secured the doubles point and earned singles wins from Ben Weintraub and Gabriel Elicha Navas in the closely-contested match.
No. 34 Ole Miss enters Friday’s matchup with a 12-2 overall record and has been strong at home this season at an undefeated 8-0.
Alabama currently holds a 3-7 overall record this season and will host the Razorbacks in Tuscaloosa on Sunday afternoon. Despite being under .500, all of the Crimson’s Tide’s wins this season have come at home. Later in the day, Arkansas will face Alabama A&M, which currently owns an 0-6 record on the year.
