Razorbacks Land 3 Transfers

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas has added three transfers for the 2023-24 season including TCU transfer Jacob Skov Olesen, NCAA Division II three-time All-American Mateo Pulcini and the 2023 JuCo Jack Nicklaus Player of the Year Award winner Matthis Lefevre.

• 2022-23 (Senior at TCU)
Played in 11 tournaments … Finished with a stroke average of 72.38 … Finished in the top 20 five times and the top 10 two times … Was named to the Big 12 All-Tournament team with a ninth-place finish at the Big 12 Championship … Finished eighth at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational with a score of 3-under 207 … Had 18 rounds of par or better and seven rounds of under 70 … Had a season-best score of 4-under 67 at the GCU Invitational (March 13-14) … Went 4-0-1 at the fall Big 12 Match Play as TCU finished third.
• 2021-22 (Junior at TCU)
Academic All-Big 12 … Played in five tournaments … Had three rounds of par or better … Had a season-best 1-over 217 at the Amer Ari Invitational … Shot a season-best 2-under par 70 at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic … Finished tied for 25th at the Colonial Collegiate Invitational … Had a scoring average of 74.07.
• 2020-21 (Sophomore at TCU)
PING All-Central Region Team… Played in 12 events and had a scoring average of 71.81, the second-best on the team … Took home co-medalist honors at The Prestige with a score of 4-under 209 (71-68-70) … Shot a season-best 11-under 202 at the Thunderbird Classic, which tied for the sixth-best 54-hole score ever at TCU and placed tied for second … Shot a season-best 6-under 65 at the Thunderbird Classic… Was TCU’s top finisher the most times for the season (4) including at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional where he finished eighth overall … Had a stretch in the spring where he shot under par in 12 of 14 rounds … Led the team with 17 rounds of par or better and nine rounds under 70 …  Finished in the top 10 four times.
• 2019-20 (Freshman at Ranger JC)
Played at Ranger College in Ranger, Texas … Finished as the top-ranked junior college player according to GolfStat with a scoring average of 69.53 Recipient of the 2020 NJCAA Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award … Named NJCAA Division I PING First Team All-American … Named NJCAA Division I PING All-District… In his collegiate debut, won the Texas Intercollegiate Tournament after shooting 7-under 209 at Hawks Creek in Fort Worth … Finished second at the Platinum Pipe NJCAA National Preview with rounds of 69 and 68 to lead Ranger to the team title … Had a career-best round of 9-under 63 at the High Country Shootout in Ruidoso, N.M.
PRIOR TO COLLEGE
Was the bronze medalist at the Danish stroke play championship for three-straight years, from 2017-19… In 2016, placed second at Carris Trophy and shot a final-round score of 62… Won the Belgium Juniors Championship in 2016.

Named GCAA All-American (third team) and PING All-Region for the third straight year … Earned second team All-Lone Star Conference … Posted at 71.62 scoring average and had eight top-20 finishes in 13 events played … Tied for seventh in stroke play at the LSC Championship as OC was runner-up … However, Pulcini was 2-0 in match medal play as the Eagles won the team title … Team placed fourth and he tied for 13th at the DII West-South Central Regional … Helped OC win the DII stroke play, tying for 14th with an even-par 216 (73-68-74) … In match play, was 2-1 with Oklahoma Christian falling in the championship (3-2-0) to Nova Southeastern … Placed a season-best fifth at the Bubba Barrett Invitational, shooting 71-70-71=212 / -4 … The top four at the Bubba Barrrett were Division I golfers … Added top 10 finishes at the Houston Classic (T-7th) and Las Vegas Desert Classic (T-9th) …. Individually, finished ninth at the 2023 Latin America Amateur Championship (72-68-68-72) … Played in the 2022 Patriot All-American (70-74-74 / T-55).

• 2020-21 (Sophomore at OC)
Named GCAA All-American (honorable mention) and PING All-Region … Earned first team All-Lone Star Conference … Voted Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Year (was still counted as a freshman by the league due to 2019-20 season cancellations due to COVID) … Named to the All-Tournament team for the Lone Star Conference Championship … Was fourth at the LSC Championship, helping Oklahoma Christian to the team title … Played in 10 tournaments, recording a stroke average of 72.68 over 28 rounds … Posted six top-10 and eight top-20 finishes … Shot a pair of 1-under-par 71’s and tied for third in The Hrnciar to help OC to the team title … Opened the spring semester with three straight top-10 tournament finishes, starting with an eighth-place showing in the Houston Classic (70-77-72=219 / +3) as the Eagles won the team title … Tied for 10th in the Las Vegas Desert Classic (68-74-74=216 / E) … Finished fifth in the Broncho Invitational (72-73-71=216 / +6) and helping OC win the team title … Tied for sixth the Dallas Baptist Patriot Classic (70-67-74=211 / -5) … In the NCAA Division II South Central-West Super Regional, shot 72-71-78=221 (+5) to tie for 15th.
• 2019-20 (Freshman at OC)
Named to the Lone Star Conference’s Commissioner’s Honor Roll (spring semester) … Played in six of the seven team tournaments, recording a stroke average of 75.25 over 16 rounds … Tied for seventh as OC won the Missouri Southern Fall Invitational, shooting (69-72=141 / -3) … Fired an even-par 72 in the second round and tied for 14th at 9-over in the St. Mary’s Invitational.
• Prior to Oklahoma Christian
Previous school: Played for Rio Cuarto Golf Club, helping his team win Argentina’s national Interclub Championship in October 2017 … Finished as the top junior in the Abierto del Centro Championship, one of Argentina’s major regional open tournaments, in 2018.
