Razorbacks Return to Barnhill for Final Home Series
The Hogs will get home court advantage one last time this season with two matches against the Alabama Crimson Tide at Barnhill Arena on Saturday and Sunday.
Arkansas takes on Alabama on Saturday at noon and Sunday at 3 p.m. The Razorbacks are currently 16-8 overall and 7-7 in SEC play. The Tide are 9-17 and 3-11 in conference.
With both volleyball and football on campus on Saturday, fans must park in the Baum East lot and take the shuttle to the south entrance of Barnhill Arena, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The shuttles will pick up from the same place postgame to take patrons back to Baum East. Those who plan to attend both volleyball and football can keep cars parked at Baum East all day. Saturday’s match will not be live streamed.
Sunday’s finale will also serve as Senior Day, and the team will honor Hailey Dirrigl, Gracie Ryan and Tatum Shipes following the match. Sunday’s action will be streamed on SEC Network Plus. Tickets are available online or in person through the Razorback Ticket Center. Adult tickets are only $5 and kids 17 and under get in free.
Last Time Out
The Hogs traveled to Columbia, Mo. on Wednesday for a midweek match-up with the Tigers. With 10 days rest, the Razorbacks came back firing on all cylinders and defeated the home team in straight sets. The win was also head coach Jason Watson’s 100th at Arkansas and 300th in his career. Junior Taylor Head led the Arkansas offense with 10 kills, Shipes posted six blocks, and Ryan added 24 assists in the victory.
