Razorbacks score a top-20 finish in day one

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Arkansas swimming got off to a solid start at NCAA Championships on Tuesday with a top-20 finish.

The Hogs secured a 15th-place mark in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:36.53.

The time was good enough to earn Andrea Sansores, Alessia Ferraguti, Bella Cothern, and Kobie Melton earned NCAA Honorable Mention All-Americans designation.

Head Coach Neil Harper: “I am so excited for these ladies and our relay! These ladies have been working hard all year for this and we performed on the biggest stage and moved up to Top 16 and Honorable Mention All Americans!  It’s a great start to the meet and so we will look to keep it rolling!”

The Razorbacks swimmers will look to continue their success at NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships tomorrow with the preliminaries of 500-freestyle, 200-Individual medley, and 50-freestyle in the morning. The 200-freestyle relay will also take place tomorrow night.
