Razorbacks Set for Southern Amateur at The Blessings

FAYETTEVILLE – Seven Razorbacks – six current and one graduate – will play in the 119th Southern Amateur, held July 16-19 at The Blessings Golf Club.

The current Hogs include junior Thomas Curry, senior John Daly II, sophomore Erich Fortlage, sophomore Gerardo Gomez, incoming freshman Will Gordon and junior transfer Camden Smith. Also in the field is Mateo Pulcini, who was part of the 2023-24 team.

The Southern Amateur is part of the Elite Amateur Golf Series, aligning the seven majors of amateur golf. The series includes some of the oldest golf tournaments in the country. Including the 119th Southern Amateur, the series features the 84th Sunnehanna Amateur, the 63rd Northeast Amateur, the 125th North & South Amateur, the 123rd Trans-Mississippi Amateur, the 58th Pacific Coast Amateur and the 123rd Western Amateur.

This will be the first time The Blessings Golf Club has hosted the Southern Amateur. Parking and admission are free for the event.
